CURRENT DIVISION RULE IN PARALLEL
CIRCUIT OF RESISTANCES:
·
When two resistances are R1 and R2 are connected in parallel across to supply
voltage 'V' volts when then flow of
current of R1 and R2 is i1 and i2 ampere.
The total current is
i=i1+i2
i=(V/R1)+(V/R2)
i=V((R1+R2)/R1*R2)
V=i*(R1*R2)/(R1+R2)
i1=V/R1=(i/R1)*((R1*R2)/(R1+R2))=i*R2/(R1+R2)
i2=V/R2=(i/R2)*((R1*R2)/(R1+R2))=i*R1/(R1+R2)
