CIRCUIT OF RESISTANCES:

When two resistances are R1 and R2 are connected in series across to supply
voltage 'V' volts .When then flow of current is 'i' amperes.
V=V1+V2
V=iR1+iR2
V=i(R1+R2)
i=V/(R1+R2)
V1=iR1=(V/(R1+R2))*R1
V2=iR2=v*(R2/(R1+R2))
